Martin, who works for Australia Post, explains, “Sometimes, Pippa comes out for the daily delivery, but there’s no mail for her to collect, so I have to improvise.†He transformed one of his delivery notification notes into a postcard and wrote “Mail for Pippa†on it, with a couple hearts drawn on as a sweet addition.
Pippa collected her postcard and went about her usual day. Since then, Martin’s post has reached over 9,000 likes. The morning after, he brought Pippa news of both of their internet fame. She seemed delighted that the world’s best postman finally is getting his deserved recognition!
Martin said that he tries to develop a friendly relationship with each dog he comes across on his route, and try to break the negative stereotype between them. It looks like he’s done a wonderful job, so far!
