The baby kangaroos that hang out in those pouches, are known as “joeysâ€. If a kangaroo mom feels that someone or something is threatening their baby, they will first pound their feet on the ground, as a warning.
If that doesn’t ward off the threat, then they will go as far as to bite and kick the offender (something no one wants). However, not all kangaroos are aggressive.
