It also doesn’t look like the new, feathery mom is up for sharing “her†babies with anyone soon, either! The mother cat hasn’t been allowed to get anywhere near her kittens, although they did separate the kittens from the chicken so that they could nurse (from the mother cat, that is).
The good news is, that when the hen had her own chicks, it seems that she forgot about the kittens. I’m sure their feline mom is pleased to have her babies back, finally!
