As the video goes on, you’ll see that when the dog is around and interacting with the old man, he becomes, miraculously, able to speak again. It’s a touching few moments as he speaks with his best friend, and what he says is sure to bring tears to your eyes.

We may not yet have a cure for Alzheimer’s, but people are working hard towards it, and in the interim, at least there are moments like these that remind us that not all is lost.
