Jonathan was discovered when Calvert’s older brother heard little cries coming from the sewer! When they followed the cries, they discovered a litter of baby raccoons inside, along with the grim discovery of their mother lying on the side of the road, after being hit by a car.

Animal control informed them that the only option would be to euthanize the babies because of shelter overcrowding, and releasing them into the wild was not a viable option, either. The others found foster homes, while Jonathan found himself a new mother in Roxy, and lived happily ever after!
