The local fire department came to rescue to bunny and helped get her down to safety but they did not know how she got up there or where to return her to. Lily, the rabbit, was no Lassie either. They wrestled with theories that she was thrown up there by someone or that a bird had tried to carry her away but dropped her onto the roof.
A veterinarian was able to tell them that Lily had no injuries, but that didn’t help them to identify Lily Doe. The RSPCA asked all the neighbors around, but none were recently missing a rabbit.
