Two Brothers Separated In A Shelter Desperately Pawed At Their Cages To Be Together

In the three months that they were separated, homer lost thirteen pounds, and Bentley lost ten. The dogs were separated because one of the shelter workers thought one was acting aggressively, but that could have been from the energy at the shelter, or surrounding perceived threats.

Emily Ghosh, founder of Live Love Pet Care and Animal Rescue Services, heard about the brothers and their open wounds from pacing and pawing to get to each other, and she began a desperate search for a foster family that would take both dogs.
