Meteorologists are often given a lot of grief from the public, because of their “inaccuracy†or things of this nature. Of course, the weather cannot always be 100% predictable nor accurate, and when there is a surprise snowstorm or unexpected cloudiness, the public seems to blame meteorologists for not warning them.
Meteorologists, are scientists who study the atmosphere, predict the weather, and analyze the effects the atmosphere has on the environment. To be a meteorologist, at minimum, you need a bachelor’s degree.
A little known fact, is that most meteorologists work for The National Weather Service, while only a few work on TV, and are the ones you see on your daily weather forecast on your local news station.
These are a very brave few, as meteorology is tough enough, without adding the additional and undeniable challenges of being live on TV. But what happened to this weatherman is beyond hilarious!
