You know that feeling you get when it’s so hot that you want to jump into the nearest body of water and cool down? Unfortunately, as humans who need to maintain proper social behavior, we can’t do that. But a dog sure can! When this pup was taken on a walk by his dad, they happened to pass by the Brooklyn museum, which has a nice water fountain just spritzing out refreshing water. The sight of that fountain was too much for this dog to handle! Maybe it was the hot summer sun or an incredible thirst, but whatever it was, it’s rewarded us with this awesome video! The pup rushes straight into the fountain, running along the jumping water and leaping together with it. He looks so happy to be enjoying such a refreshing romp. He quickly opens his mouth to drink some of the fountain water as he rushes along. What an energetic pup! His excitement is definitely infectious, and you’ll find it really hard not to smile along! No matter what, all siblings are bound to have their disagreements, and this applies to pups as well! These two funny dogs are proof of that. For some reason, this yellow labrador is adamant that only she should be allowed to come up onto the bed. But her little sibling would like to be up there too. Naturally, a compromise needs to be reached – but what happens instead is hilarious! At first, these two fur balls both rest on the bed. They seem happy and peaceful, just chilling out together and supposedly enjoying each other’s company. That’s just an illusion, unfortunately! The bigger dog notices that her smaller sibling is resting alongside her, and she thinks fast. Trying to look innocent, she reaches her back legs out as though merely stretching. And then she uses her paws to push her little brother off the bed! Oh dear! This naughty dog continues to stare straight at us, as though she’s completely oblivious to what she’s just done. Meanwhile, her younger sibling is gone and nowhere to be seen. Tsk, tsk! That’s no way to get along, you two! What a sly pup. There are many animal shelters around the world. People interested in becoming pet parents can walk in and take one home for free. This seems like a win-win situation – a pup in need of a home gets one, and a person gets to become a mommy or daddy to an adorable fur ball. But sadly, this doesn’t happen all the time. Many shelters in Brazil are overcrowded. Pups are left in shelters by those who believe that they will receive better care there, but often times, shelters struggle to keep pups healthy and safe. Many fur balls may die from disease or depression while cooped up in shelters. Meanwhile, people choose to pay top dollar for pups in stores. In order to raise awareness about this issue, a Brazilian rescue group called Quatro Patinhas – or “Four Paws” – organized this eye-opening event. The organization had a pet store loan them their displays for one day. Every single pup and kit in the display cases were shelter animals longing for a home. Customers came in to take a look at the pets and many asked the prices of the adorable pups and cats. They were surprised when the answer was given to them – all the pets were free to take! Take a look at this video! At the end of the day, plenty of people took pups and kits into a new forever loving home, all because they decided to give them a chance. If I say the phrase “intelligent animal”, what comes to mind? Chances are there are plenty of creatures that pop up in your head. Parrots should definitely be on that list somewhere! Not only can they learn to talk, they’re also great companions and lots of fun to be around! Case in point, meet Cody the parrot! Not only has he learned to speak, he’s also learned plenty of terms and actions from his mommy that make him all the more adorable. His bright, energetic personality can lighten up any room and brighten up the gloomiest of days. Check out his antics in the video below! While perched on Mommy’s shoulder, Cody reveals his favorite game: peek-a-boo! But before that, he says hi several times and gives Mommy plenty of playful kisses. What a sweet thing he is! And then he starts playing, turning his head away, and then looking back suddenly at Mommy and yelling “Peek-a-boo!” Doesn’t that just make you smile? We all know that cat baths aren’t much like human baths! There’s rarely any water involved, as most cats can’t stand that, and it has more to do with a lot of licking and grooming. While cats usually bathe themselves, sometimes, they’ll allow a trusted friend to do it for them. This video captures the essence of such a close friendship – but it’s far fluffier than you might have imagined! This fuzzy little kitten has decided to give her older friend, Pinecone, a bath. Pinecone has very fluffy white fur, and it’s adorable to see the young kitten grooming her with such care. It’s an explosion of poufy fur! Pinecone looks a bit disgruntled by the attention she’s getting from her smaller friend, but she graciously accepts her grooming. Let’s face it – how can anyone say no to a little kitty that cute? If there was a cat bathing business, the small kitten would be made for it! She carefully holds Pinecone’s head steady as she works, moving along her fur and making sure she doesn’t miss a single spot.
