I have already seen lots of birds in my 20+ years of existence. Different sizes. Different colors. All of them look super interesting. But, in all seriousness, I have never laid eyes on anything as splendid-looking as this species I’m itching to tell you about.

Their feathers, man! Out of the ordinary. Surreal. Lovely. Arresting. Exquisite. I could spend my whole life just describing how beautiful their feathers are.
Before I show you pictures of my Nicobar pigeon buddies, let me tell you one cool fact about them. Did you know that they are the closest living relatives of the already extinct Dodo birds? How awesome is that?
