Dogs and their humans form unbreakable bonds and Alice McIntyre and her small dog Hugo had such a bond. They spent all of their time together until McIntyre had to leave home for five months to live in Europe. She had never been away from Hugo for that long before, having only been gone for about a week at a time, and they missed each other terribly.
When she came home, luckily in December, she decided to surprise Hugo with an early Christmas present.
