He sat the front eight months waiting and wondering if he would ever see his owner again. With each passing ambulance he would look in excitement, hoping and praying his owner would be there to see him again. However, after awhile the hospital staff realized that Negão hadn’t left that spot in eight months.
They then took action to help Negão better understand that his owner was not coming back to him. They began to bring him food and water to ensure he had all he needed to survive. They even found him two different families to adopt him but he broke free and returned to the hospital to continue his vigil.
This gives the term “it takes a village to raise a child(dog)†because it really is taking a village to keep Negão safe, happy and healthy. Share away, people.
