We can only begin to imagine what is going through Hugo’s head but it might sound something like this, “Oh boy they brought me a new toy! What is it?! (as he walks up to investigate) What the…? It jumped at me, what’s going on here?!â€
He steps back only to be even more taken back by the tube being removed and the gosling being seen in full sight. Now he’s thinking, “Why is my new toy moving around? Is it alive? Am I supposed to play with it? What is that thing? I don’t want to hurt it if it’s alive. I’m just going to not do anything until they say it’s okay!â€
