A ninety-two-year-old woman was recently forced to undergo surgery and move into a nursing home to recover. The horrible part is that she also had to say goodbye to her best friend, a Chihuahua mix named Sir Blacky since she would not be able to care for him.
She surrendered Sir Blacky to the Front Street Animal Shelter in Sacramento, California where his chances of being adopted were very low because he is a senior dog.
