Some dog breeders have given all breeders bad names. Sugarplum and her sister belonged to one such breeder in New York City who posted a picture of the dogs in a craigslist sales ad. Apparently, they didn’t want to breed her anymore.
Jackie O’Sullivan, cofounder of Rescue Dogs Rock NYC, received the ad sent by a friend and knew she had to help because she could tell the dogs weren’t in good shape.
