Somehow, the dog passed away, but none of the people around him did. Hardman and 12 others were hiking Mt. Bierstadt, in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.
The weather was nice all day, when suddenly and unexpectedly, the weather rapidly changed, hailing like crazy. “All I remember is a light…a bright light hitting the ground. I got up and everybody was on the ground crying and screaming,†said Will Chandler, Hardman’s fiance.
