He was a senior cat and had a recent infection that cost him his right eye. Most people didn’t want to adopt a senior one-eyed cat. Apollo had already lived his worst fears. His previous owner had raised Apollo since he was a kitten and they planned on growing old together.
However, Apollo’s owner grew older too fast and had to move into a nursing home. Apollo had to go to a Michigan shelter. When Hutchison found him in the shelter, he was losing hope.
