The volunteer said that it was incredible to have to walk around people in order to get to work and called it a Christmas miracle. Everyone met with the adoption counselor to ensure that their homes were good fits for the animals before they could take home a new best friend.
At closing on Friday, 30 adoptions were finished and, after being closed on the weekend, the rest of the pets were adopted on the next business day.
