She brought out some food for the poor cat, of which it ate every bite. The next night, the kitten returned, and each following night she returned to eat; the food bowl a bit closer to the porch each night.
A week of this, and the cat was on the porch, both all day and night. She stayed for a month, and after that Ann knew she had to do something.
