Snappy, the husky, had a wonderful life with his beloved family. That is, until they passed away in a car wreck in northern Canada. The staff at a medical center where they died noticed that Snappy began hanging around every day haunting the hospital, waiting on his family to come out. Eventually, the staff members began to earn his trust and started feeding and caring for Snappy. Ah, the sound of rain on an old tin roof. It’s almost as relaxing as the thump, thump, thumping of a small bunny hopping gently on the housetop. Wait, what? That’s exactly what homeowners in Liverpool, England had the opportunity to hear recently when a small white rabbit was found on their roof. Someone saw the rabbit testing its’ fear of heights and called the RSPCA probably in an attempt to have someone come out and explain what they were seeing to them. Moving can be a hard process. Finding out what to keep and what to just trash can be stressful, but most people don’t get to the point of trashing their dog. Just five days before Christmas, someone called the Detroit Animal Welfare Group (DAWG) to report that a dog had been left out it the snow and needed help. A ninety-two-year-old woman was recently forced to undergo surgery and move into a nursing home to recover. The horrible part is that she also had to say goodbye to her best friend, a Chihuahua mix named Sir Blacky since she would not be able to care for him. She surrendered Sir Blacky to the Front Street Animal Shelter in Sacramento, California where his chances of being adopted were very low because he is a senior dog. Do you see that dog over there in the corner? Her name Is Cora. She looks so sad, doesn’t she? She is actually a momma pooch who got separated from her puppies due to unforeseen circumstances. But, today, she’s meeting them again at Navato, California’s Marin Humane Society! Upon seeing one of her babies, her head suddenly jerks up. She be like: “That little baby dog looks familiar.” She now looks at the lady like: “That was my baby, am I right? You just showed me my baby, didn’t you?” She then goes running to where her babies are, sniffing and kissing each one of them just like any momma pooch would. They can’t get enough of each other!
