Videos and images of newly adopted pet animals never fail to tug at my heartstrings. These guys always have the most touching reactions upon realizing that they’ll finally have a home to keep them safe and warm. The happiness in their faces are undeniable; give these abandoned folks a home and they’ll forever be grateful.

Twelve years ago, Jon came across an 11-month-old Pittie walking aimlessly in the streets of Brooklyn. He was extremely smitten by the babe that he decided to take the pup home. He fed him, provided him shelter, and treated him like family.
Twelve years later, Brinks still can’t get over the reality that some kindhearted soul had the courage to adopt him. He would still relentlessly give Jon the best grin he could ever muster. It’s probably his way of saying “thank you”.
