Human kindness is a miraculous thing and the effects of one single act can be boundless. Last week, in North Carolina, someone donated $5,000 to the Forsyth Humane Society to sponsor every pet in the shelter’s adoption. The volunteers at the shelter were shocked when they heard the news and so was the community.
The next day, a crowd of people waited outside the shelter doors to take home a homeless pet and give it a forever home.
