Lila was found tied in a yard without access to food or water after several days of being there. When rescuer Janina Schan picked her up, the poor dog was lighter than air and the understanding of what all Lila had been through had Schan crying the whole way to the vet.
She said that Lila’s case was the worst case of cruelty that she had ever seen. Lila was so close to death that she couldn’t stand by herself and she also had a bad case of mange, so she had no fur.
