When you have a dream, it can be difficult to hold on to when times get tough, but sometimes, that hope can keep you going – and maybe, just maybe, that dream will come true. Raimundo Arruda Sobrinho had been homeless for 35 years in São Paulo, Brazil, when he receive the opportunity for his own long-held dreams to come true.
Raimundo sat in the same spot for 35 years, which made him well-known among the locals. In the April of 2011, his life was changed when Shalla Monteiro decided to go up to him and strike up a conversation.
