Those who take the time, effort, and money to spend on bird feeders and bird seed typically are bird lovers, and actually want to feed the birds. While birds typically do get a share of the food meant for them, squirrels are often uninvited visitors and steal much of the bird seed.
Some very intelligent squirrels even figured out how to get the seed out of a device called a “squirrel-proof feederâ€. There have been hundreds, if not thousands of videos circulating the internet demonstrating people thwarting greedy squirrels attempting to eat from the bird feeder.
