Working as a fireman is incredibly difficult and exhausting work. Saving people’s lives and potentially homes and land is probably very rewarding, but putting your life at risk every work day, is probably scary as well. These men and women deserve recognition in any way they can. In 2013, Alberta, Canada experienced catastrophic flooding.
More than 100,000 people were displaced from their homes. Although, this was a frightening and tragic time for everyone involved, the photo on the Next Page rose and brought smiles to many faces.
Shawn Weibe was one of the many firefighters working to help in any way he could to help people in the area.
