When asked about the adoption application she got for Apollo, Nancy Hutchinson still cries tears of joy. She said “after two years, this is the one. I was just overwhelmed with emotions…I love that cat.†Hutchinson is the president and founder of Michigan Cat Rescue and had been fostering Apollo ever since she pulled him from a kill shelter.
Every day that Apollo was with her, it seemed as though he would never get adopted. Apollo had a minor problem that was keeping away prospective families.
