Albert the super cow was born in a hard spot. At just one day old, he was being sold at auction in New York state for his meat. He was sick and thin, he was mooing for his mother, and he kept falling.
When the bids started coming in, people were only bidding the smallest amounts because Albert wasn’t worth anything except eating.
