Hank still flinches when someone tries to pet him. But that’s to be expected because his previous owner’s hands were not nice ones. When Hank was just about ten months old, his owner was seen beating him and leaving him to die.
Someone saw and took pictures of the incident, posted them to Facebook, and tagged Fern White, a longtime volunteer at the Animal Hope and Wellness Foundation, to help the poor canine.
