Ham spent all his time in an empty house by himself. His previous owners could not tolerate the hair he left on furniture, the messes he made, and the bother that he was. So, they called Lisa Heart, a volunteer at Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation Northeast who was to take him a short daily walk, and find him a new family.
It was either the empty house and walks, or a shelter for Ham.
