The owner said that she could have both dogs for $350, but by the time she got there, Sugarplum was left alone. She took the tiny dog to the vet because she was severely underweight, her feet were stained with urine, and her legs were bent, like she had lived in a crate.
She also wasn’t so confident in people and was very shy as if she’d had a few bad experiences. Many breeders now are doing so strictly for profit and do not invest much into the dogs’ health.
