Long-haired cats need to do a lot of grooming! Mommy cats know this fact very well, so when they have kittens, grooming is an important part of life. Even better, mommy cats seem to use grooming as form of punishment when their little ones are being naughty, as though they can wash the cheeky deeds off their fur! Too cute!
This Persian mommy cat is well-aware of this rule too, so her little kitten has to be groomed regularly until she learns to groom herself. So she holds her baby tight in her paws and begins to lick. The kitten is clearly not very happy about this arrangement, but Mommy doesn’t care. Cleanliness must always come first in this family!
