Some horses get one last chance to be adopted before heading to Mexico for slaughter. The last chance comes from kill shelters which normally hold elderly, or previously injured horses. At one such kill lot in Texas, Bubbles got tired of waiting for his chance and decided to take it himself.
Becky’s Hope Horse Rescue in Frisco, TX went to pick up some mini donkeys and Bubbles thought he should go with them. He walked straight up to their trailer completely ignoring commands and waited for the donkeys so he could load up.
