There are countless posts online relating to animals in shelters, but this one is especially heartbreaking. It’s not entirely shocking to discover that animals left at shelters are often scared, lonely, and confused. Oftentimes, they want to escape in an attempt to be reconnected with their family! That was exactly the case with Ginger, a beautiful German Shepherd who was left at the shelter by her owners after they were no longer able to care for her.
Ginger felt that she needed to escape Apple Valley Animal Shelter in California, in order to get back to her family! She didn’t understand why she was suddenly all alone at the shelter.
