Think about where you were seven years ago. Now imagine that you’ve spent every day since then, until now, locked up. That’s exactly what a pit bull named, Dahlia, has had to go through. Arriving at The Santa Barbara Humane Society (SBHS) when she was just six months old, everyone was confident that she’d quickly be adopted.
Puppies are adopted more often than older dogs, but somehow she kept getting missed. Some of the staff members have weighed in, and believe that she could be looked over because she can be a bit shy at first.
