Beefcakes has come a long way from when he first arrived at the Longmont Humane Society with a gunshot wound to his head. His badly broken jaw had to have multiple surgeries. A caregiver kept a journal for Beefcakes and logged all his surgeries. After they were all done, the journal started to read a little different and began to show the spirit of an unbreakable heart.
Beefcakes became a famous dog after his gunshot wound at close range and then went on to become a lovable dog who found a home quickly.
