Lady, the pit bull, used to be a shelter dog. She had a hard time getting adopted because she was overlooked by everyone wanting to give a dog a home. Lady was at the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter and was just one of 11,000 that are in the shelter every year.
Lady was one of the staff and volunteers’ favorites, but no one ever really gave her a chance to see how awesome she was.
