Twelve-year-old husky mix, Spunky, was recently diagnosed with an incurable form of cancer, called hemangiosarcoma. Knowing that any day could be his last, his owner, Ashley Niels, decided to follow through with a promise she had made him years ago: that he would see snow again, one day.
Niels had adopted Spunky while living in Wisconsin, and when they made the move to Texas eight years ago, she also made him the promise.
