How This Family Dog Saved His 8 Month Old Sister Life Is Going To Tear Your Eyes
A fire broke out this week at a Baltimore family’s home, and changed their lives forever. Erika Poremski shared the house with her eight-month-old daughter, Viviana, and her almost six-year-old dog, Polo. Erika had just stepped out of the house moments before the fire started, frantically trying to get back in, to get Viviana, who was on the second floor. Poremski said, “The fire smoke was so heavy, I couldn’t get past it. I kept running out and back in, trying to get up there. Then, the door curling started falling and I couldn’t get back in.†Erika’s hands and face were burned from all of her attempts at rescuing her daughter. Her neighbors even tried to get inside the house by kicking in the doors and windows. Luckily, the little girl did have someone there with her: Polo.
