It is unknown how exactly Maverick, the pit bull, acquired these horrific injuries. Since he is of the pit bull breed, many believe that dog-fighting is a likely possibility, or he could have been attacked on the street. Amanda Dowell, program director for the Texas-based nonprofit, Long Way Home Pit Bull Rescue, believes that in whatever manner it happened, that he’s been living with those injuries for a long time. It all started when a man made a post on Facebook about giving away his dog and her nine puppies. We all know, once you put something on Facebook, it can go viral quickly. The concerned Facebook community quickly took action to make sure that they were all taken care of. The dog, Nana, had been chained up for the last three years and had given birth three times. Meet Scrattie. This pooch has no clue whatsoever that, today, his dad got an awesome surprise especially for him. They’re visiting his most favorite place in the world–the dog park. Exciting! Now, he sees something utterly familiar. He be like: “Oooh. I know this place. You must be freakin’ kidding me.” “DAD WHY YOU DO THIS TO ME I AIN’T PREPARED THIS IS SO BEYOND ME.” Scrattie goes crazy he comes up to dad and licks his entire face. “Dad, faster! A few months back, Animal Aid Unlimited India’s rescue team encountered one of the most heartbreaking moments of their lives–an abandoned puppy was lying helplessly on the street, and was covered in flies! They initially thought the pooch was already dead. But, upon closer inspection, the pup’s heart was still beating. He’s still alive! So, the rescuers took the dying creature under their care and tried to revive the tot. They kept him warm and gave him IV fluids. Slowly, the pooch started responding. They bathed him and cleaned him up. At times, the pooch would attempt to stand on its four skinny feet, but failed each time. Continue this heartwarming story on the next slide. Wonder where the cutest hedgehog in the world resides? Well, I might be biased about this, but I think the fluffiest of them all lives in Japan. His name is Azuki, and he’s already quite a superstar. Awww! This charmer already has over 30 thousand followers over at Instagram, which is pretty remarkable for a hedgehog to achieve. People loves to marvel at his cuddly existence that he’s gaining fans each day! One of the many things he is obsessed with is sleeping. He loves it so much he does it any chance he has.
