Our pets are like family; they’re our babies, and they brighten our days. Dogs are probably the most popular pet to have, and for good reason. If you’re a dog-lover, you probably feel like adopting a dog was the best decision you’ve ever made! Dogs are known for their unwavering loyalty, their fun companionship that will leave you never feeling lonely, and are sure to provide you with not only happiness, but unending entertainment! Dogs are not for everybody, though; make sure you have the time, patience, and personality type to take care of a dog. They are not like cats, that can essentially take care of themselves and are very independent. Depending on your situation and what kind of dog you have, keeping him or her within the realms of your yard; especially if they love to chase squirrels or cats! Shock collars and keeping them tied up or inhumane, so what’s an owner to do? There are luckily a few solutions to that, and this particular owner in this video believes that he has come up with the perfect one! This video has recently gone viral online, being shared over 600,000 times, and with good reason! You know when you work really hard at something, only to realize it was all for nothing? This particular owner realized that, and caught it all on video. He had just finished completing his new fence to keep his dog in the yard. “Pretty proud of it, I’d have to say,” he says. When we adopt a pet, no matter what type of an animal it is, there are always a few surprises that come along. Animals are unpredictable, and hold quite an element of surprise at times. Sometimes they even know a few party tricks that we had no idea they were capable of! The best tricks are the ones that are impossible to teach; they just come from within. The family in this video are experiencing this first-hand. Sometimes we blow on babies’ bellies to make them laugh. This man appears to have done the same; obviously not expecting the dog to laugh. Smaller dogs often exhibit a condition known as “small dog syndrome”. Ever notice how most small dogs are yappy, snappy, jealous, protective, and sometimes vicious? Why is this so? Well, we often tend to treat little animals differently than big ones. We let them get away with biting and jumping on us, because it doesn’t hurt as much as it would if it were a bigger animal. It’s an undesirable set of behaviors that little dogs often acquire or are born with. There are many signs that your dog has this condition. All of these traits they exhibit are because they feel that they are in charge of their “pack”, or the home. Cats are not typically known for having this condition, mostly because cats are typically the same size, and don’t feel the same need to consistently be the “leader of the pack”, like dogs do. There is nothing cuter than sleeping dogs. They got the most adorable snoozing faces. Just look at Elvis The Bulldog when he is having a nap! He is so into his much deserved sleep, you could obviously tell. He looks super amusing now. But, wait till his human puts some delish milk bone right in front of his nostrils! What do you think is gonna happen next? Will he suddenly wake up from his deep slumber upon smelling the treat?
