Sick Cat Surrendered At A Shelter Finds The Perfect Human To Care For Her…

Mildred the cat was dropped off at the Etobicoke Humane Society in Toronto when her owner had to surrender her to move into a nursing home. Within a couple of weeks, Mildred had contracted a terrible cold and declined quickly. The social media manager for the shelter, Becca Gordon, was holding the cat and noticing that her little body was shaking. A worker told he that Mildred needed a foster home ASAP and Gordon agreed to take her home for a while. Gordon didn’t pan on fostering because she already had two cats, nut Mildred’s situation, mixed with her sympathy led her to do it. Mildred not only needed help with her cold, but also was refusing to eat or drink so she had to be hand force-fed. Mildred got antibiotics and soon, Gordon noticed that the Darth Vader sounding cat kept wanting to go into the bathroom. It seemed that the steam from hot water helped break up her sinuses. The pair would sit in the bathroom with hot water going full blast until Mildred could breathe again and began sneezing. As soon as Mildred could breathe again, her personality would show up. And boy, was it infectious! Her meow was somewhere between a squawk and a baby cry and she would bellow them out if she was separated from Gordon. She is a cuddly cat and just wants to be snuggled. Mildred is already set to be adopted when her cold is finally gone. You can help cats like Mildred here or you can follow Mildred’s progress here. Images & Feature Image Source: Becca Gordon

This Donkey Spent Years Tied Up In A Field, But Today Rescuers See This Around Her Leg

Hobble training is a technique used to keep a horse, or donkey, from wandering too far while they eat and to help teach them patience. The halter of the horse is connected to a lead rope which is tied around their front foot and one other foot. In some cases, hobbling has been abused much like in the case of a donkey recently found in Spain. Rescuers think the donkey could have been hobbled for years. Sue Weeding, cofounder of Easy Horse Care Rescue Center (EHCRC) said that “this case actually goes far beyond normal hobbling.” Continue reading this post on the Next Page…

Family No Longer Wanted Their Senior Dog. But What This Woman Did Next? Unbelievable

Sassy was a ten-year-old cow dog whose previous owner no longer wanted her. She had a food allergy, and fleas which caused her fur to fall off and her skin to get badly infected and stink. Her owner called Old Dog Haven, a group in Washington who specialized in senior dogs, and said they could come get her or he would shoot her. Julie Dudley loaded right up and went to her. Sassy slept the whole way to her new, loving home and she lived there for two years before passing away. Continue reading this post on the Next Page…

Poor Dog Makes Miraculous Recovery But Finds Out No One Wants Her

She said that Lila’s case was the worst case of cruelty that she had ever seen. Lila was so close to death that she couldn’t stand by herself and she also had a bad case of mange, so she had no fur. The Before And After Images Of This Hoarder’s Former House Will Blow You Away

Flipping houses is a dream job for a lot of us, but it is also a whole lot of work! Redditor nevertrustapigfarmer got himself into a big mess when he decided to take on a house that a former hoarder lived in. He took picture of the house before he started to show that this was no ordinary flip. The living room was filled with pizza boxes. There wasn’t even a walkway in the house as everything was covered with trash. The kitchen was overflowing with trash that had been kept. The dishes looked as though they hadn’t been washed in weeks.     Continue seeing this transformation on the Next Page!
