Piper Verdusco just got her first pair of glasses. She’s 10 months old, and it’s her first time being able to see the world as clearly as everyone else. In this incredible and touching video, Piper’s big, pink-framed glasses go on, and she sees her mommy and daddy for the first time. Her reaction is priceless.
Jessica Sinclair, Piper’s mom, knew something was wrong when Piper was a little behind in learning to crawl. A visit to the doctor determined that she was extremely far-sighted, with one eye at +7.00 and the other at +9.00. Luckily, that wasn’t anything that a pair of glasses couldn’t fix.
After getting the glasses Piper needed, Jessica and Piper – accompanied by father Andrew Verdusco – went for a meal in Flipdaddy’s diner and decided to let their baby girl try on her new spectacles. It was a bit of struggle to get the glasses on, as Piper didn’t particularly enjoy the feeling, but once they are on, everything changes.

Piper sees the world around her in full focus, and she’s shocked by how clear everything is. “Hi Piper! How are you? Can you see?†asks Jessica. Piper can’t reply, but her expression says it all. Her jaw has dropped, and she’s smiling excitedly as she looks from her mommy to her daddy. They must look beautiful to her!
Jessica posted the video on Facebook, along with the message: “Picked up her glasses. Went out to eat and put them on her. Her reaction melts my heart.†The video has reached over 13 million views so far. Do like and share this with your friends!
