This Huge Mama Dog Adopts An Abandoned Cat Family!

After suffering unspeakable kinds of abuse, rescued animals are a special breed of animals. They need time to recover from everything and learn how to trust again. If they are living with the right family, every dog that once was fearful and skittish, will be all smiles and puppy kisses. This boxer named Gina had been terribly abused. But her life turned around once she was in a loving home. One day, while on a walk, Gina and her owner came across a cat and her kittens that had been left next to a trash can. Lucy, the mother cat, recently had delivered her babies. Gina took Lucy and her babies’ right in and has since then become their owner. Gina watches the babies as if they were her own and treats Lucy like her own sibling she needs to take care. Gina is something like this pit bull dad who adopted a small kitten as his baby. This Adorable Two-Year-Old Boy Likes To Drive His Dad’s Car To The Store!

When we were younger, one of the first things we all looked forward is learning how to drive. There’s simply something about having the opportunity to travel everywhere and that makes all of us feel like grown-up. But, most of us need to wait until we’re no less than 16 before we can get in the driver’s seat of an auto and drive ourselves around. But, for one eager baby, holding up until he achieves his adolescent years is just impossible. He has got places to go, and he needs to go right now. At the point when his dad finds him hanging out by the entryway, this two-year-old makes it clear that he needs to go to the store, and he needs to drive himself. Rather than smashing his young child’s fantasies, this father chooses to hand over the keys and send the kid on his way. Yet, even with both hands on the wheel and keys in hand, there’s still one thing that stands in his direction: the way that he doesn’t know how to drive. In spite of the fact that he doesn’t exactly make it to the store, this is one family story he’ll be hearing for the rest of his life. You can also noticed that Dad made sure to tell his child afterward that he should never play around autos or in the road without his mother or father there to watch him. Father knows to keep the keys far from his child unless he’s there to watch out for everything just to ensure everybody stays safe!

The amount of patience that you have to possess while training a dog is unbelievable. It’s almost as if they’re the ones training you! But there’s good news, because now there’s a device that can satisfy both dog and human, a contraption that will give pup owners a rest while satisfying the canine need for attention. Even better, it’ll even give attention and treats to you, the human. What is the glorious device? Introducing – drumroll, please – the Affectionator! (Don’t worry, it won’t tell you to come with it if you want to live!) With just the push of one button, this device will lower a gloved hand to repeatedly pat the head of your furry canine friend, and will then offer a spoonful of treats! And if your pup’s sweet enough to return the favor, he can push a button and send a gloved hand to pet your head too. There will also be a fork armed and loaded with your favorite candies for you to enjoy.   Where has this amazing machine been all our lives? Well, there were some failed experiments during testing, but it’s finally out and ready for mass production! Well, sort of, anyway. Take a look at this video! Did this make you laugh out loud? State Supreme Court Finds Dogs Are “Sentient Beings,” Not Mere Property

Dogs, and other pets, have always been considered mere property by the law. This means that they are legally considered to be on the same level as furniture, which cannot be searched without permission from their owners or a warrant. However, all this changed last week, when the Oregon Supreme Court issued a landmark ruling that instigated dogs as “sentient beings capable of experiencing pain, stress and fear”. While we may already be well aware of a dog’s sentience, this court ruling is a significant step forward in the fight against animal abuse. The ruling places pups between mere objects and human, stating that they can be bought, sold, and killed for food, but also decreeing that they should be protected from abuse and neglect. This turn was taken due to events that began in 2010 with the case of a dog named Juno. Portland resident, Amanda Newcomb, was allegedly leaving Juno in a kennel for hours on end as well as beating and starving him. The reports of Juno’s mistreatment led to an animal cruelty investigator with the Oregon Humane Society arriving on scene to look into the allegations. Juno was found with “no fat on his body” according Oregon Live, and had been “eating at random things in the yard, and trying to vomit”. Juno was taken to a veterinarian at the Oregon Humane Society, who found him severely emaciated. On a body condition score, Juno was graded with a 1.5 out of 9. The vet then drew Juno’s blood to test for parasites or other health conditions that may have caused his lack of health. None were found, and Newcomb was charged with second-degree animal neglect. During her trial, Newcomb argued that Juno was property and therefore the blood drawn from the pup was illegally done without a warrant. However, the prosecutor compared the vet’s investigation to what they would have done for a child. After crossing a few hurdles, the Oregon court now has a law that pets are more than property and must be given basic care. Amazing progress! Pregnant Woman Poses For A Maternity Shoot. But What’s Hanging Off Her Neck? OMG

The loss of a loved one is painful for those left behind. Officer Allen Jacobs, a Greenville, South Caroline police officer, was killed on the job in March 2016, leaving behind his wife Meghan and their unborn first child, Lennox. Their baby is due in July. On Father’s Day, Meghan decided to honor her fallen hero husband in a five-hour maternity photo shoot. The emotional pictures were shot by an Jessie Ellex, an old friend. Taking part in the photoshoot were a group of Greenville police officers who helped to honor their comrade. Meghan also took a photo where she holds her phone, displaying a picture of her husband, to her stomach. The picture was originally taken during their engagement photoshoot, but edited so that her stomach now had the baby bump. Another bittersweet picture has Meghan standing with the folded American flag she received at her husband’s funeral. Around her baby bump, tied to a blue ribbon, rests Allen’s badge. According to Ellex, there are plans to recreate the photoshoot with baby Lennox once she is born, to show the newborn that she remains protected with her father’s spirit within her. Meanwhile, Meghan has visited her husband’s memorial and attached two photographs of her ultrasound and a touching note: “I miss you so much! Doc checked today. Our Baby girl is great. I love you so much.” Ellex hopes that these photographs will help Meghan to heal, along with others in similar situations. “The world lost a police officer, but we lost our dear friend, husband, father, son and brother,” said Ellex. Did this incredible tribute touch your heart? If so, give it a like and share this amazing story. Feature Image Source: J.Ellex Photography

Khalessi, The Pit Bull Who Taught Us All About Love And Hope, Has Passed Away

Khalessi, the strong, brave warrior pup who inspired the world, passed away on Thursday morning at 8:43 a.m. This beloved pup’s story began in August 2015, when Mike and Stephanie Paquin – who run Passion 4 Pits, a rescue group focused on saving neglected and abused dogs – discovered Khalessi in a shelter in Florida. Many of her bones were broken and she was missing half of her face due to a troubled past that may have involved abuse. The couple adopted the pup, naming her after a warrior queen, and sought to give her the life she deserved. She received surgery that fixed her broken bones as well as her nose and mouth. Almost overnight, Khalessi gained popularity over the internet and became a celebrity. She even won underdog of the year at the 2016 World Dog Awards. She helped raise awareness for animal abuse and provided some much-needed hope to others who were suffering. All in less than a year – that’s one impressive pup! But her new happy life couldn’t erase what had been done to her in the past. In January, she was diagnosed with babesia, common among pups that have been forced to fight. The incurable disease caused her kidneys to fail. She was then put through treatment after treatment, with her mommy and daddy by her side, but poor test results in June made them realize it was time to change course. Stephanie shared in a post on Facebook that Khalessi did not yet show signs of illness, but she knew it was only a matter of time. “Khalessi will tell me when she is ready. I don’t know if it will be a week or a month from now but she will tell me and I will respect her wishes.” On Thursday, after a week and a half of being pampered by mommy and daddy, being brought to all her favorite places, seeing all her favorite people, and even eating her favorite foods, Khalessi let her mommy know she was ready. Stephanie now fights on, asking others to honor Khalessi by helping to end animal abuse. If you’d like the help the cause, you can donate via PayPal at [email protected], or on the Passion 4 Pits website. Do share this around to spread the story of this beautiful pup’s life.
