In a tearjerking thread, Reddit user, abernha3, shared a special story about the last car ride he took with his beloved cat. Saying goodbye to a pet is never easy. Over the years, we develop a strong bond for our animals, and they become like our children. We think about all of the happy times we’ve spent with our animals, but we never want to think of the day that will inevitably come when we have to part ways with them. They’ve made our lives so much happier; we never want to think of a day without them. Many times, we have to make that decision ourselves, whether it be because they became sick, because of old age, or another reason. Google Maps is a tool a large percentage of us use, and understandably so, because you can find just about anything in the world on there. This story involves someone who found something a little more unexpected than driving directions. It all began when Patrick Pittenger pulled up Google Maps Street View earlier this summer to show his girlfriend where he worked in Los Angeles. View post on imgur.com He was a bit surprised to see an all-too-familiar face in front of one of the buildings: a stray dog he interacted with often. His girlfriend, Jennifer Velesquez, had heard about the dog, Sonya, before. Sometimes, Patrick would bring her food and water, and was often tempted to adopt her.
