Guy Makes Tribute To His Dying Dog By Recreating A 15-Year-Old Photo

How would you feel if you discovered that your dog–who’s so dear to you and has been by your side and has been your best friend for years–is ill and may not be able to live longer? It would probably be one of the saddest moments of your life. But, you know, what matters is that you’ve shown your buddy the love it deserves till the end. Gordon Delacroix recently found out that his dog Birdy has cancer. The pooch has been with him for 15 years. â€œHe could easily be great for another six months, but itâ€™s also possible that heâ€™ll get very sick again soon and this time for the last time,â€ he wrote on reddit. â€œIt breaks my heart just to think about it, but weâ€™ve had so many great years and adventures together. Iâ€™m grateful he was part of my life,â€ he added. Before it’s too late, Gordon offered a special tribute to Birdy. Something that’s fit for someone who’s been loyal and loving all these times. He recreated a photo of them together, which was taken 15 years ago. Once again, the two best friends posed for a picture. Same place–in front of their grandma’s house in Belgium. Now, that’s love.

Name it, he’ll do it for you. He’s like a genie who can grant all your wishes. He loves you so much he can wear momma’s clothes to let you know he’ll always be on your team.

The world can get a bit too cruel sometimes that it is a real tough challenge to remain kind and compassionate. Like, if other people treat you like garbage, why would you not do the same, too? Why not be flat-out bad, too? But, here’s a mother pit bull to teach us a thing or two about not being hardened by the brutalities of life. This beautiful creature was abandoned right at the doorstep of the Sacramento SPCA one day. But, here’s what surprised the staff even more: She got 10 newly delivered puppies with her! Mom was still bleeding when she was discovered, meaning she had just given birth to her babes. She got no chain whatsoever. She could’ve easily forsaken her tots and ran for her life. She, however, took the higher road and remained a mother to her helpless babies. She stuck with them. Man, who’s chopping those damn onions? Seriously, who can walk out on these adorable angels? Though the shelter was more than happy to house the abandoned dogs, they were worried they might not be able to sufficiently nurture such huge family. If they separated momma from her kids, the babies may suffer. But, you know, good things happen to good folks. Because momma pit bull is as selfless as she could be, help came immediately. A big-hearted human being was willing to take care of them! All 11 of them! The foster dad took them with him, and created a safe haven for the dogs at his own place. They’ll be staying with him for a number of months until the puppies are ready for adoption. This is quite a relief, you guys! The guy is actually proud of his new kiddos he’s been sharing pictures of them all over social media. They’re finally home.

30 Years Later, Kindergarten Teacher Meets Former Student In A Touching Reunion

Our teachers are our second parents. They nurture our minds and help shape a better future for us. They make the biggest impact in our lives that we’ll absolutely remember them even years after we have graduated from school. Not so long ago, Lorly Schik was a noble kindergarten teacher at Minnesota’s Perham school district. She was a dedicated rabbi to young children from the 1940s until her retirement in 1989. And, though it’s been 30 long years since she left her profession, she could still remember the faces of her students. Lately, much to her surprise, she saw a familiar face while tuning on to KARE 11 Sunrise, a local news channel. It was her former pupil Cory Hepola delivering the news! She immediately grabbed a pen and wrote a letter, which she sent to the anchor’s parents. It read: Hi Diane & Terry. It is with a great deal of pride that I am now watching my former Kindergarten student telecast the news on KARE 11. I can still picture him as a small dark haired child in his K-desk! I am also wondering if you can view that station in Perham?? In September 20, 2013 I moved to an Independent Senior Living Complex in St. Paul. It was a very difficult decision, a part of my heart will always be in Perham. My children and grand (& great) children are all in the Twin Cities. The time had come! “Greet Cory. Tell him his K-teacher is now 90 years old, enjoys seeing his newscast, and wishes him (and you, too) the VERY BEST!” -Mrs. Schik. What did happen next? Did Lorly and Cory meet each other? These Colorblind Brothers Never Saw Colors… Until THIS happend!

Bet you can never imagine yourself seeing just black and white. How much of a struggle would it be if you don’t have the ability to see and identify colors in their truest forms? How is it being colorblind? Meet brothers Jace and Jimmy Papenhausen. They are colorblind. They never saw colors their whole lives. But, they got awesome parents who would do anything just to make living a lot better and easier for them. Mr. and Mrs. Papenhausen recently bought one amazing doohickey from EnChroma, a tech company that creates special spectacles for the colorblind. Thank the heavens there is a video footage of that fateful day the two guys tried on the glasses. Ugh, this is going to be quite emotional. Take a look at their reactions. Abandoned Pooch With A Damaged Eye Gets Complete Makeover. The Transformation Is (Insert Heart Emoji Here)!

Homeless, forsaken animals always find home in the arms of selfless and benevolent individuals. Just as in the case of Melanie. She was an abandoned dog who was luckily rescued by people at Vet Ranch. She was in a real bad condition when they found her. She got fleas and ticks all over her. She was anemic. And, the worst part was that she had a severely rotten eye. Poor thing! But, Dr. Matt from Vet Ranch did all that he could to restore this little creature’s health back to normal. He gave Melanie all the medical attention she needed, including an eye surgery. Guess you’re way too excited to see what she has become a few months after. It’s safe to say that the girl’s transformation was utterly beautiful you might even shed a few tears out of relief and happiness. One thing’s for sure–Vet Ranch is a gift to the world, especially to abandoned animals. Here’s Melanie’s full story:
